FDIC and the FRB of Chicago Host CDFIs Providing Capital to Entrepreneurs of Underserved Communities in Indiana

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (FRB of Chicago) will host a webinar featuring three Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) that will provide an overview of their products and services. Findings from the Federal Reserve’s 2023 Small Business Credit Survey will be presented. Learnings from the Demystifying Underwriting Project, designed to understand and address small business owner attitudes on debt, will be discussed. In addition, attendees will hear examples of how financial institutions partner with CDFIs to serve underserved entrepreneurs. Discover how Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) strategies can increase investments, loans, or services in Indiana's low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities and communities of color.
