I would like to express my opposition to the proposed rules change by the FDIC to decrease the CRA obligations to banks. In a small community such as ours the reinvestment by our local banks is extremely important to our community development. Without this partnership we would be severely challenged. Many bankers understand this need because a healthy community economy means a healthy and prosperous bank but when that understanding is not the law is very important.
