Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

Dear Sirs,

As a resident of rural Vermont, I am extremely concerned about the proposed changes to the rules for small banks (less than $1 billion in assets) for complying with the Community Reinvestment Act. These changes would effectively eliminate any review of Vermont and New Hampshire banks in our area for their CRA compliance. As a member of the Upper Valley Housing Coalition and the Woodstock Interfaith Housing committee, I am working to encourage more workforce and affordable family housing in our community. Without the full requirements of CRA, it will be more difficult to engage the participation of small local banks in financing affordable housing which is such a critical need here.

Please reconsider these proposals and do not adopt the changes to CRA for small banks.

Thank you,

Nancy Nye
