Subject: Community Reinvestment - RIN 3064-AC50

To whom it may concern,

As a concerned citizen, I urge you to withdraw your proposed changes to the Community Reinvestment Act regulations (RIN 3064-AC50). CRA has been instrumental in increasing homeownership and economic development.

I am very dismayed to hear that this kind of discrimination is being held against people in already disadvantaged areas. Please reconsider these changes and ensure that people are treated fairly on the basis of their credit ratings rather than their address. Without being given the same opportunities as others to better their living circumstances what chance do they have of transforming their communities?

Although this particular issue is not close to home for me, as a concerned christian world citizen I believe that any moves away from fair and just treatment of all people regardless of their race, address, or economic status is disastrous and should be criticized. Please be aware that I will be notifying others of this situation and encouraging them to also respond. I hope that the prospect of a global spread of your reputation for injustice will be of some motivation to you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Regards,
Michelle Waters.
