Dear FDIC Decision and Policy Makers,

Lummi Island Community Land Trust is a SMALL non-profit low income housing organization dedicated to assisting low-income community members secure affordable housing. Please consider organizations such as ours when creating policies that could have devastating effects such as the one now before you.

LICLT opposes the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in ours' and other low-income communities. The current policies have enormous leverage in providing our economically disadvantage citizens opportunities they would otherwise not have. Thank you.
