Subject: Community Reinvestment Act

Dear Colleague:

I am writing to strongly object to the move by the Commissioners to gut
the provisions of the Community Reinvestment Act. This act is critical
to economic development in rural areas. I also object to the
undemocratic processes employed to try and railroad these changes
through, not that I am surprised.

Thank you.

Paul L. Shepherd, Ph.D.
