Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

I object to the proposed weakening of the CRA's reach. By quadrupling
the height of the ceiling on assets, under which banks are exempted from
demonstrating that they provide both services and investments that
benefit low- and moderate-income households and neighborhoods in their
communities, you leave too many states [at least a dozen] with no more
than four banks that are not exempted. Three of them, and D.C., would
have ALL their banks exempted. The CRA has been tremendously effective
in spreading the many varied [and multiplying] benefits of home
ownership to communities and neighborhoods. Please don't diminish these
benefits.
