FDIC Hosts Webinar to Promote San Diego Saves and Bank On San Diego Coalition

In honor of "America Saves Week," the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting a webinar to support the San Diego Saves campaign and the Bank On San Diego coalition’s mission to help unbanked residents access mainstream banking services. Presenters will also highlight the efforts of San Diego Saves and the work of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites as a strategy to increase economic inclusion and build assets for unbanked populations in the San Diego area. Attendees will learn about the challenges for organizations providing free tax services for low- and moderate-income families and identify collaboration opportunities for financial institutions.
