Subject: CRA

Many individuals and organizations worked for many years to make CRA effective. Please keep it strong and do not take any measures to reduce the number of financial institutions covered by it. Weakening the pressure on regulated institutions to keep lending in credit-starved communities increases the pressure towards predatory lending. That, in turn, ruins neighborhoods and individuals. It is up to the FDIC among others to ensure that all who need credit get it.

Thank you in advance for keeping the letter and spirit of CRA in force.
