Quarterly Conference Calls

To expand outreach and educational opportunities for MDIs, we are conducting a series of periodic conference calls for all FDIC-supervised MDIs. The calls are designed to cover relevant topics for MDIs and will generally be scheduled to last one hour (inclusive of time for Q&A). Participants will be able to submit questions via e-mail and telephonically.

The FDIC will be hosting a conference call for Minority Depository Institutions on Monday, February 23, 2009, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST. The call will cover various aspects of the deposit insurance premium system, including fees to be assessed for coverages under the Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program. Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection Director Sandra Thompson will lead the discussion, with participation by Division of Insurance Deputy Director Diane Ellis and Fund Analysis and Pricing Chief Matthew Green.

The call will include a question and answer session for bankers.

To participate, minority bankers should call 1-888-455-0408, and enter passcode MDI.
