The FDIC expects bank management to ensure that risks associated with offering overdraft products are mitigated and that all products offered comply with consumer protection laws and regulations. Senior Examination Specialist Patricia Cashman will cover some of the main concerns and issues that arise in overdraft products and services as well as some of the key findings of the FDIC’ s November 2008 Overdraft Study.
