Gentlemen,
Please note my strong opposition to proposed gutting of the Community
Reinvestment Act. The Act has been an effective and necessary control
against greed and corruption in financial institutions. To gut it now
would be disasterous to low-income Americans, especially in
non-metropolitan areas.
