Continuing IT Training Program
Fundamentals of TCP/IP
Program Overview
This course is designed to assist RMS IT Examiners identify the
role of each TCP/IP component and understand the major TCP/IP application services. Attendees
should have an intermediate knowledge of information technology and security
concepts.
Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- understand the fundamentals of TCP/IP, and
- be able to describe how TCP/IP networks operate.
Instructional Format
Facilitated classroom discussion and lectures.
Duration
Four and one-half days.
Level
Intermediate.
Target Audience
IT Subject Matter Experts and IT Examiners.
Prerequisites
Participant should have attended ITEC and all Basic Level courses.
