These presentations have been prepared by FDIC staff to provide a general overview of the Basel III and Standardized Approach NPRs, as they are likely to apply to community banking organizations.
These presentations do not address all aspects of the NPRs that could apply to such an institution. Therefore, banks are encouraged to review the NPR documents as posted on the FDIC website and in the Federal Register. Comments concerning the NPRs should be provided to the Federal banking agencies by October 22, 20121.
