FDIC: Alliance for Economic Inclusion Meeting

The FDIC Community Affairs staff invites you to the next AEI meeting on April 30, 2014, at the Plaza Branch, Kansas City Public Library. Networking will begin at 7:45 a.m.; the formal agenda at 8:15 a.m.  The meeting will open with two speakers addressing community development and community stabilization through reducing crime, the needs of low-income college students, and the state of social services for low- and moderate-income Kansas City families. 

Five, 90-minute breakout sessions follow, offering these topics:

  • Ex-Offender Reentry Services;
  • Services to Immigrant Populations;
  • So you are insured, now what? (LMI healthcare);
  • Sustainable Housing (panel discussion); and
  • Legal Aid for LMI families. 

The meeting will end at the conclusion of the breakout sessions. 

Registration must be completed on-line by April 28, 2014.
