The Federal Trade Commission Web site at www.ftc.gov/bcp/menus/consumer/tech.shtm has good information on how to use the Internet safely, especially the "OnGuard Online" site. Financial institutions, Internet service providers, consumer organizations and the news media publish tips and information you can find by searching the Web.
