The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has advised the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) that an entity identifying itself as First National Bank of Bedrock may be conducting banking business illegally or without authorization. The OCC issued industry notification related to that entity, including a recently used Web site on which the entity disseminated information: www.freewebhosting.hostdepartment.com/F/FNBKOBR. Although that Web site is currently inactive, others may be in use. Please be advised that the FDIC does not insure this entity or any products or services it may offer. Any information about this entity may be forwarded to the FDIC's Special Activities Section, 550 17th Street, N.W., Room F-4040, Washington, D.C. 20429, or forwarded electronically to alert@fdic.gov.
